Resort Beach

The Virginia Beach Oceanfront is one of the top tourist destinations in Virginia. The area consists of a three-mile boardwalk that runs along the Atlantic Ocean and links over forty hotels and other attractions. During the summer months, locals and tourists enjoy riding bikes along the bike path that runs adjacent to the Boardwalk.  The Virginia Beach Boardwalk has received national acclaim in recent times as one of America’s favorite boardwalks by the Discovery Channel, and in magazines such as Costal Living, Southern Living, and National Geographic Traveler.

Chesapeake Bay

For beach goers, the area surrounding the Chesapeake Bay is perfect for those who enjoy tranquil calm waters and watersport activities such as boating and jet-sking.  Chic’s Beach is a stretch of beach running about two miles from the Lynnhaven inlet to just west of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.

The beach community is bordered on the South by Shore Drive.  A stretch of road that features many popular restaurants and bars. The area is also located close to First Landing State Park, which offers biking and jogging trails. To the west, is Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base. 

Sandbridge Beach

A local’s favorite, Sandbridge is on the southern end of Virginia Beach tucked away near the rural area of Pungo. This spot is popular for families looking to rent a house on the beach! Sandbridge stretches all the way to Little Island State Park, close to the North Carolina border.
